Philadelphia Union has announced a multi-year partnership with Pennsylvania Dairy Farmers, naming them as the official sponsor of both the club and the WSFS Bank Sportsplex Cafe.
Charlie Slonaker, Chief Revenue Officer of Philadelphia Union, expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration: “We’re excited to partner with Pennsylvania’s dairy farmers to highlight the impact of proper nutrition. We understand that dairy can be a key part of an athlete’s diet, delivering essential nutrients. Together, we’re encouraging our athletes and fans alike to make smart, nourishing choices that fuel performance both on and off the field.”
Lolly Lesher, Chair of the Pennsylvania Dairy Promotion Program (PDPP), spoke on behalf of Pennsylvania Dairy Farmers: “Pennsylvania Dairy Farmers and the Philadelphia Union are a perfect match. We’re excited to share in our commitment to provide sustainable nutrition for all people. Dairy farmers in the Commonwealth are sports fans, and with this partnership, we will showcase Pennsylvania’s strong dairy industry, which provides locally produced, wholesome milk to consumers throughout the region.”
The sponsorship includes entitlement rights for the WSFS Bank Sportsplex cafe where Pennsylvania dairy products will be available. It also features onsite activations during promotional theme nights such as the “Greener Goals” game against Atlanta United FC on April 19. Additionally, they will serve as a Bronze sponsor for Army-Navy Cup XIII in 2025.
Pennsylvania's dairy industry is significant to the state’s economy with nearly 5,000 dairy farmers contributing $11.8 billion annually and supporting 47,000 jobs.
