Philadelphia Eagles Executive Vice President and General Manager Howie Roseman addressed the team's strategy at the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis. Speaking on Tuesday, Roseman outlined the organization's goal to "keep this window open for as long as possible" by exploring all options available.

The Eagles face decisions on key players set to become unrestricted free agents in three weeks, despite having much of their roster secured under contract for multiple seasons. Roseman emphasized the need for creativity in retaining talent: "We have to get creative," he said, aiming to maintain a strong lineup by integrating young players into the team.

As preparations continue for the 2025 NFL season, which unofficially began at the Combine, Roseman assured fans that every potential player acquisition will be thoroughly evaluated. "One thing that I can promise our fans is that there will not be a player that is available that we won't study," he stated.

With March 12 marking the start of the 2025 League Year and negotiations with free agents commencing two days prior, Roseman expressed confidence in the team's readiness. Despite a tight schedule following their Super Bowl LIX victory, he noted that plans are progressing smoothly.

Roseman reiterated his commitment to strengthening both offensive and defensive lines, calling it an "unhealthy obsession." This focus remains central to their roster-building strategy.

The Eagles have arranged player interviews for after the Combine to gain deeper insights into draft prospects. With successful outcomes so far aligning with their plans, Roseman highlighted multiple contingency strategies in place. The team's recent record of two Super Bowl wins and three appearances over eight seasons underscores their effective approach.

"We are looking for players wherever they are," Roseman concluded. "That is what we are here for and that is the goal – to continue to build the roster and improve this football team."
