Pennsylvania House Republicans have urged Attorney General Michelle Henry to investigate Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner. The request is centered on the handling of an arrest warrant for state Representative Kevin Boyle, a Democrat from Philadelphia, and any potential election law violations.

House Republican Leader Bryan Cutler expressed concerns about the timing of the warrant's issuance and withdrawal, which occurred just before a primary election in which Boyle was a candidate. "The involvement by District Attorney Krasner and his office in the issuance and withdrawal of the arrest warrant issued for Rep. Boyle on the literal eve of a primary election in which he was a candidate for office raises serious questions," Cutler stated. He further criticized Krasner's management style, describing it as partisan and unprofessional.

Representative Martina White also criticized the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office, citing what she described as a history of legal disrespect. "This case is symptomatic of an office that has repeatedly exploited its power, not merely bending the rules but breaking them," said White. She emphasized that these issues are indicative of systemic problems rather than isolated incidents.
