The Philadelphia Union Academy has seen three of its players, Jordan Griffin, Jamir Johnson, and Kellan LeBlanc, selected for the U.S. Under-17 Men's Youth National Team. The team is set to compete in the Concacaf U-17 Qualifiers.
The United States has been placed in Group F and will begin its qualifying matches against the U.S. Virgin Islands on Monday, February 10. Following this, they will face St. Kitts and Nevis on Wednesday, February 12, and conclude their group stage matches against Cuba on Saturday, February 15. Each match is scheduled to start at 8 p.m. ET. The first two games will be held at Estadio Nacional in San Jose, while the final match will take place at Estadio Alejandro Morera Soto in Alajuela. Broadcasts of these games will be available on Fox Sports platforms with a finalized schedule forthcoming.
Griffin and Johnson were previously part of the roster during a training camp held in November in West Palm Beach, Florida.

Midfielders: Maximo Carrizo (New York City FC), Kellan LeBlanc (Philadelphia Union), Luca Moisa (Real Salt Lake), Cooper Sanchez (Atlanta United FC), Cristiano Oliveira (New England Revolution), Jude Terry (Los Angeles FC).
Forwards: Chase Adams (Columbus Crew), Lorenzo Cornelius (St. Louis City SC), Chance Cowell (San Jose Earthquakes) Jamir Johnson (Philadelphia Union), Tanner Rosborough (New York Red Bulls), Axel Uriostegui (Real Salt Lake).
All players selected for the qualifiers were born on or after January 1, 2008.
