The Philadelphia Eagles secured a 28-22 victory over the Los Angeles Rams in an NFC Divisional Playoff Game at Lincoln Financial Field, advancing to the NFC Championship Game. The match was marked by challenging weather conditions and notable performances.

Saquon Barkley led the Eagles with impressive runs, including touchdowns of 62 and 78 yards, amassing a total of 205 rushing yards. "I just want to make good plays for the team," Barkley stated, acknowledging his offensive line's support.

Philadelphia's defense played a crucial role in the win. Despite allowing significant yardage from Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford and running back Kyren Williams, the Eagles' defense achieved key takeaways. Jalen Carter forced a fumble recovered by Isaiah Rodgers, leading to three points. Nolan Smith also executed a strip-sack on Stafford. Carter later sealed the game with critical plays during the Rams' final drive. "It was surreal. I was really focused on trying to finish the game out," Carter commented post-game.

Quarterback Jalen Hurts contributed with a 44-yard touchdown run and completed 15 of 20 passes for 128 yards without turnovers. Reflecting on the victory, Hurts said: "Enough is never enough... There's always a hunger."

The Eagles struggled in red zone efficiency but managed to hold Los Angeles to two touchdowns in five attempts within that area. Special teams also had mixed results; Jake Elliott made three field goals but missed two extra points due to difficult weather conditions.

Several players delivered strong performances under challenging circumstances, including punter Braden Mann and linebacker Oren Burks. Head Coach Nick Sirianni remarked on their adaptability: "Everything plays a part in it."

With this victory, Philadelphia prepares to face the Washington Commanders in their third meeting this season.
