Major League Baseball has announced the schedule for the 2025 Spring Breakout, a showcase event featuring Minor League talent on Major League fields. The event will commence with the Red Sox facing the Rays in Port Charlotte, Florida, on March 13 and conclude with the Reds against the Brewers in Maryvale, Arizona, on March 16.

Spring Breakout began last year to highlight Minor League players and their potential impact at Major League levels. Last year's event featured notable matchups such as National League Rookie of the Year Paul Skenes against top prospect Jackson Holliday.

The opening game between the Red Sox and Rays will feature several top prospects from MLB Pipeline’s Top 100 list. Among them are Roman Anthony, Marcelo Mayer, and Kristian Campbell from Boston, alongside Carson Williams from Tampa Bay.

The Cubs will face off against the Dodgers later that evening. The Cubs lead with seven Top 100 prospects including Matt Shaw and Owen Caissie. They previously traded two key Dodgers' prospects in a deal involving Michael Busch.

On March 14, matchups include Cardinals versus Marlins and Pirates against Phillies. Both games promise exciting encounters between promising pitchers and hitters from each team’s roster of top prospects.

Other notable games include Nationals at Astros where Cam Smith will make his debut for Houston after being acquired from Chicago. The Athletics meet Padres showcasing Ethan Salas and Nick Kurtz among others.

The Yankees play Orioles on March 15 with elite talents like Coby Mayo and Jasson Domínguez expected to take part. Meanwhile, Rangers face Giants in a rematch of their historic World Series encounter featuring young stars Sebastian Walcott and Bryce Eldridge.

Finally, on March 16th, Tigers challenge Braves in North Port while Mets clash with Nationals highlighting Dylan Crews and Brady House for Washington. Rockies play White Sox concluding this series of highly anticipated matches across both Spring Training states.
