The Philadelphia Eagles have made strategic roster changes ahead of their Wild Card game against the Green Bay Packers. The team has elevated fullback Khari Blasingame and wide receiver Parris Campbell from the practice squad.
Khari Blasingame, who joined the Eagles' practice squad on December 3, has been a key player on special teams throughout the regular season. The 6-foot, 233-pound fullback is in his sixth year in the NFL and has previously played in five playoff games with the Tennessee Titans. After spending three seasons with Tennessee, Blasingame moved to Chicago in 2022. He participated in two games for the Bears this season before being released and subsequently signed by Philadelphia.
Parris Campbell, also a sixth-year veteran, has fluctuated between the Eagles' practice squad and active roster this season. The wide receiver stands at 6-1 and weighs 205 pounds. In 2024, he played five games for Philadelphia, recording six catches for 30 yards and one touchdown over 140 offensive snaps. Unlike Blasingame, Campbell will be experiencing his first playoff game.
Campbell's career includes playing in 49 regular-season games where he achieved 123 catches for 1,117 yards and six touchdowns. Additionally, he has handled 15 kickoff returns during his career. Initially drafted by the Colts as a second-round pick in 2019, Campbell joined the Giants last season before moving to Philadelphia.
