The Associated Press has announced its 2024 All-Pro Teams, with six players from the Philadelphia Eagles receiving honors.
Running back Saquon Barkley was named First-Team All-Pro in his debut season with the Eagles. Barkley made history by becoming the ninth player in NFL history to exceed 2,000 rushing yards in a single season, finishing with 2,005 yards and setting a new franchise record. He also set records for single-game rushing yards (255 against the Rams) and single-season scrimmage yards (2,283).
Linebacker Zack Baun also earned First-Team All-Pro recognition in his first year with the team. Baun recorded impressive statistics including 150 tackles, 11 tackles for loss, 3.5 sacks, five forced fumbles, an interception, and a fumble recovery while playing nearly all of the team's defensive snaps.
Wide receiver A.J. Brown was selected as Second-Team All-Pro despite missing three games due to injury. In his third season with Philadelphia, Brown achieved his third consecutive 1,000-yard campaign with 67 receptions for 1,079 yards and seven touchdowns over 13 games.
Defensive tackle Jalen Carter's performance earned him a spot on the Second-Team All-Pro list as well. In his second year after being drafted ninth overall in 2023, Carter had significant contributions including 42 tackles and four-and-a-half sacks.
Veteran offensive tackle Lane Johnson received his fifth All-Pro selection as part of the Second Team. Johnson joins Bob Brown as one of only two Eagles offensive tackles to achieve this honor five times.
Tackle Jordan Mailata was also named Second-Team All-Pro for the first time in his career. According to Pro Football Focus, Mailata was graded as the top offensive tackle this season.
