The Philadelphia Eagles clinched the NFC East Division title despite the absence of star quarterback Jalen Hurts, who was sidelined with a concussion. Backup quarterbacks Kenny Pickett and Tanner McKee stepped up in his absence. Pickett, making his first start of the season and 30th in three NFL seasons, completed 10 out of 15 passes with one touchdown and scored another on a Brotherly Shove. He exited the game in the third quarter with the Eagles leading 27-7. Tanner McKee then took over, completing three out of four passes for 54 yards and two touchdowns.

Offensive Coordinator Kellen Moore expressed satisfaction with both quarterbacks' performances. "Really cool opportunity for Tanner to have that chance," Moore said. "Showed his preparation that he's gone through each and every week of the season." Moore also praised Pickett's performance: "I thought Kenny did an excellent job... He made some really good decisions."

The Eagles made several changes to their practice squad, signing defensive backs Tariq Castro-Fields and Mekhi Garner along with defensive end Charles Harris.

Jake Elliott took on kickoff duties for the first time this season against Dallas, recording five touchbacks on seven kicks. Special Teams Coordinator Michael Clay explained Elliott's role due to wind conditions: "We have the luxury of having two guys that can kick off."

Running back Saquon Barkley continues to impress with over 2,000 rushing yards this season. Offensive Coordinator Kellen Moore highlighted Barkley's impact beyond statistics: "The consistency that he plays with is obviously incredible... I think he's an A-plus teammate."

In other news, safety C.J. Gardner-Johnson was named NFC Defensive Player of the Week following a standout performance against the Cowboys.
