The Eagles will face the Cowboys at Lincoln Financial Field today in their second Kelly Green game without quarterback Jalen Hurts, who is sidelined with a concussion. Kenny Pickett will start for the Eagles, with Tanner McKee as backup and Ian Book as the emergency third quarterback.

"I'm very excited. It's a big opportunity. I've been working hard to stay ready and I felt like I was in a good position last game with my preparation and now having a week to practice, I'll feel even better going into the stadium. So, I'm excited. I just want to get the win," Pickett expressed on Thursday.

Linebacker Nakobe Dean is out due to an abdomen injury, paving the way for Oren Burks to start in his place. Burks had brief playtime last week when Dean was temporarily injured.

Wide receiver/punt returner Britain Covey has been placed on Injured Reserve because of a neck injury, while running back Will Shipley is ruled out following a concussion from their game against Washington.

Defensive end Bryce Huff has been activated from Injured Reserve after recovering from wrist surgery that kept him out for five games. Huff's performance this season includes 10 tackles, 2.5 sacks, four QB hits, three tackles for loss, and one forced fumble over ten games. He will join fellow defensive ends Josh Sweat, Nolan Smith, and rookie Jalyx Hunt.

Philadelphia has also elevated running back Tyrion Davis-Price and linebacker Dallas Gant from the practice squad for today's matchup. Davis-Price will debut with the Eagles; Gant will make his first NFL appearance.

The Eagles' inactive list includes Ian Book (3rd QB), Nakobe Dean (LB), Nick Gates (OL), Jalen Hurts (QB), Trevor Keegan (G), Darian Kinnard (T/G), and Will Shipley (RB).

On the Cowboys' side, wide receiver CeeDee Lamb has been shut down for the season due to shoulder issues after playoff elimination in Week 16. Cornerback Amani Oruwariye is on Injured Reserve with a foot injury while offensive lineman Asim Richards joins the active roster following recovery from an ankle injury; he may play left tackle today. Cornerback Trevon Diggs remains on Injured Reserve since December 21 with a knee injury.

Inactive players for the Cowboys include T.J. Bass (OL), Princeton Fant (TE), Kemon Hall (CB), Justin Rogers (DT), Deuce Vaughn (RB), Matt Waletzko (T), and Tyrus Wheat (DE).
