The Philadelphia Eagles have released their initial injury report for the upcoming NFC East game against the Dallas Cowboys at Lincoln Financial Field. Although no practice took place, an estimated report was provided.
Quarterback Jalen Hurts is listed as unable to practice due to a concussion sustained in the recent game against Washington. Backup quarterback Kenny Pickett was reported as limited because of rib injuries.
Tanner McKee, who serves as the emergency third quarterback, stated his preparation remains unchanged despite injuries within his group. "I feel like I've always been preparing to be the starter and preparing to play, and so my preparation is going to stay the same," McKee mentioned. He added that he feels more confident with another year of experience under his belt.
Linebacker Nakobe Dean is also noted as not participating due to an abdomen issue. Running back and return specialist Will Shipley joins Hurts in the NFL's concussion protocol.
On a positive note, wide receiver and punt returner Britain Covey (neck) along with defensive end Bryce Huff (wrist) are making progress from previous injuries and were marked as full participants.
