The Philadelphia Eagles have elevated fullback Khari Blasingame from the practice squad for their upcoming game against the Washington Commanders. The announcement was made on Saturday afternoon.
Blasingame, a sixth-year veteran, joined the Eagles' practice squad on December 3. He had previously been elevated for victories over the Panthers and Steelers. During his first two games with the Eagles, he played primarily on special teams, participating in 30 snaps.
Earlier this season, Blasingame appeared in two games for the Chicago Bears as part of their active roster before being released on October 26. His addition to the Eagles came after linebacker Ben VanSumeren sustained an injury.
