The Philadelphia Eagles faced the Los Angeles Rams in a Sunday Night Football game at SoFi Stadium. The Eagles, coming off a win against Washington, were missing wide receiver DeVonta Smith due to a hamstring injury. Meanwhile, the Rams played without right tackle Rob Havenstein because of an ankle injury.

In the first quarter, the Rams took an early lead with a 1-yard touchdown run by Kyren Williams after Puka Nacua's significant catches and a pass interference call against Darius Slay. The Eagles responded with a field goal from Jake Elliott following a fumble recovery by Nakobe Dean.

During the second quarter, Jalen Hurts connected with A.J. Brown for a touchdown after Brandon Graham sacked Matthew Stafford to halt the Rams' drive. Elliott added another field goal, narrowing the gap before halftime.

Saquon Barkley opened the third quarter with an impressive 70-yard touchdown run for the Eagles. Despite injuries to Slay and Josh Sweat, who later returned, Kenneth Gainwell extended the Eagles' lead with his first touchdown of the season.

In the fourth quarter, Elliott secured another field goal as Milton Williams contributed significantly on defense by forcing Stafford into difficult situations. The game concluded with an Eagles victory over the Rams.
