Philadelphia Union II emerged victorious in the Eastern Conference Final of the MLS NEXT Pro Playoffs, defeating Columbus Crew 2 with a decisive 4-0 scoreline at Subaru Park. This win marks Union II's first-ever advancement to the MLS NEXT Pro Cup.

The match saw Union II forward Markus Anderson open the scoring in the 16th minute. Midfielder Cavan Sullivan followed with a goal in the 42nd minute, setting a record as the youngest goalscorer in MLS NEXT Pro Playoff history. Defender Frankie Westfield added another goal in the second half, and Anderson completed his brace in the 74th minute. Goalkeeper Andrew Rick secured his second clean sheet of the postseason.

The game was played before a record crowd for Union II at Subaru Park. Philadelphia Union II will now face off against the winner of the Western Conference Final on November 9 for a chance to claim their first MLS NEXT Pro Cup title.

Referee Eric Tattersall officiated Saturday's match, which took place under clear skies with temperatures at 57 degrees.

Philadelphia Union Communications reported that forward Markus Anderson achieved his first brace of this playoff series, while Nick Pariano provided his first assist. The team looks ahead to their upcoming final match as they aim for victory.
