The Philadelphia Eagles have made roster adjustments by waiving four players prior to the start of their rookie minicamp. The decision affects defensive tackle Noah Elliss, wide receiver Griffin Hebert, defensive back Tiawan Mullen, and center Lecitus Smith.
Noah Elliss joined the Eagles as an undrafted free agent in 2022. He spent that year on the Reserve/Non-football injury list. Released in August, he rejoined the team’s practice squad by Week 8 and later signed a Reserve/Future contract at season's end.
Griffin Hebert began his 2023 season with Seattle before moving to the Eagles' practice squad in Week 16. A Louisiana Tech alumnus, Hebert accumulated 1,532 receiving yards and scored 14 touchdowns during his college career. He too secured a Reserve/Future contract with Philadelphia.
Tiawan Mullen experienced several stints on and off the Eagles' practice squad this past season. In January, he was signed to a Reserve/Future contract. During his time at Indiana from 2019 to 2022, Mullen played in 40 games recording notable stats including five interceptions.
Lecitus Smith became part of the Eagles’ practice squad last November after being drafted by Arizona in the sixth round of the 2022 draft. His professional experience includes ten games with two starts for Arizona before signing a Reserve/Future contract post-season.
