The Philadelphia Eagles and Nouryon have announced the opening of nominations for the 2024 Nouryon All-Pro Teachers program, coinciding with Teacher Appreciation Week from May 6-10. This initiative, now celebrating its 10th anniversary, seeks to honor outstanding middle and secondary school teachers in the Greater Philadelphia area. Nominations are open until October 25, 2024.

Brian Napoli, Senior Vice President of Corporate Partnerships for the Philadelphia Eagles, expressed his enthusiasm for continuing this partnership: "It is a privilege to join Nouryon once again in recognizing the educators in our region for their commitment both in and out of the classroom." He emphasized that over the years, this program has highlighted many deserving educators.

The program is designed to recognize teachers from grades five through twelve who demonstrate exceptional dedication to their students and community. Nominations can be made by anyone within the community including students, colleagues, or school administrators. For more details on how to nominate a teacher or view official rules, interested parties are encouraged to visit their website.

Charlie Shaver, Chairman and CEO of Nouryon, remarked on the significance of this collaboration: "We are pleased to partner with the Philadelphia Eagles on this program and announce the launch of the 2024 Nouryon All-Pro Teachers nominations." He noted that it showcases educators' contributions in fostering student skills and creativity.

Ten educators will be selected as All-Pro Teachers based on their educational excellence and community involvement. These teachers will receive recognition at an Eagles home game where one will be awarded as Teacher of the Year at season's end.

Last year's honorees included Dana M. Bowser from Chester High School and Kathryn Gaedy from Robert G. Reid Elementary School among others. Each received $2,000 for classroom supplies along with an NFL jersey and tickets to an Eagles game. The Teacher of the Year also receives an additional $5,000 prize.

In addition to supporting education through this program, Nouryon contributes financially to other initiatives such as the Eagles Autism Foundation. Their recent $300,000 matching gift supported participants in achieving fundraising goals during the 2024 Eagles Autism Challenge.

Nouryon operates globally across various sectors including personal care products and pharmaceuticals with a workforce committed to innovation and sustainability.
