Philadelphia Union II secured a narrow 4-3 victory over New York City FC II at Subaru Park on Monday evening. This win ensures Union II's spot in the 2024 MLS NEXT Pro playoffs, making them the third team to reach the postseason in all three years of MLS NEXT Pro history.

However, New York City FC II responded strongly with goals from Taylor Calheira, Jonathan Jimenez, and Jonathan Shore within minutes, establishing a 3-1 lead.
