The Philadelphia Union hosted Columbus Crew at Subaru Park on Wednesday night, resulting in a 1-0 defeat. The first half ended scoreless with opportunities from both teams. In the second half, Columbus took the lead in the 75th minute when Yaw Yeboah scored the match's only goal. Despite taking 11 shots, the Union were unable to equalize. Goalkeeper Andre Blake recorded a season-high six saves.
