The Eagles hosted the Vikings on a sunny day for their final preseason game on Saturday. Most starters were absent as the remaining roster competed for team spots in their last showcase.

"The message after the game also was, that's the last time those 91 guys will be together. We're going to have to make some tough decisions. But it was a good camp. It was a camp that guys worked their butts off. We got better. And it took all 91 guys to get better. Not just the 53 that are going to make this team. It took all of us. But it is the last time those 91 guys will be Philadelphia Eagles together," said Head Coach Nick Sirianni.

First Quarter

The Vikings scored first with a touchdown from wide receiver Trishton Jackson, thrown by quarterback Jaren Hall, following penalties against the Eagles. The Eagles' initial drive ended with Tyrion Davis-Price fumbling in Vikings territory.

"I was excited. A lot of adrenaline rolling, so it's good to be back out there. A lot of things to learn from," said Cooper DeJean about his first NFL game.

"There were some good things. There's going to be some things to clean up. But it was good to have him out there because he's talented and we're excited about his potential," added Sirianni regarding DeJean's performance.

Second Quarter

The Vikings extended their lead with a 31-yard field goal after Julian Okwara's third-down sack prevented a touchdown (Vikings 10 – Eagles 0). The Eagles responded with a 41-yard field goal from Jake Elliott (Vikings 10 – Eagles 3). Minnesota then scored another touchdown on a four-yard pass to Justin Hall (Vikings 17 – Eagles 3).

The Eagles failed on fourth down with Lew Nichols losing a yard at midfield, leading to another Vikings field goal before halftime (Vikings 20 – Eagles 3).

Third Quarter

Minnesota quickly advanced but settled for a 20-yard field goal after failing at the Eagles' one-yard line due to Okwara's pressure on third down.

New quarterbacks Tanner McKee (Eagles) and Matt Corral (Vikings) started the second half. McKee's run for six yards was reversed upon challenge, resulting in turnover on downs.

McKee later connected with Griffin Hebert for a significant gain but ended another drive with turnover on downs.

Fourth Quarter

McKee led another offensive effort but threw an interception caught by Jay Ward in the end zone with over eight minutes left.

Tarron Jackson sacked Corral, forcing a punt at seven minutes remaining. Will Grier replaced McKee late in the game.

A final field goal by Will Reichard extended Minnesota's lead (Vikings 26 – Eagles 3).

"It's a good example of that if you don't play with good fundamentals -- we missed some tackles. We fumbled the football. We didn't take the football away... So that's what you hope that doesn't happen, but that happened today," concluded Sirianni.
