The Eagles will host the Browns in Week 6 of the 2024 campaign after coming off their bye week. After being propelled by quarterback Joe Flacco's comeback to lead the team to the playoffs in 2023, the Browns fell to the Texans 45-14 in the Wild Card Round.

With Deshaun Watson set to return from shoulder surgery last season and a revamped roster, Cleveland is looking to return to the postseason and take control of the AFC North from the Ravens.

Quick Stats:

2023 record: 11-6 (2nd in AFC North)

Key additions: Jerry Jeudy, Jordan Hicks, Quinton Jefferson

Key losses: Anthony Walker, Sione Takitaki

Top draft picks: DT Mike Hall Jr. (Round 2, Pick 54), G Zak Zinter (Round 3, Pick 85), WR Jamari Thrash (Round 5, Pick 156)

Here are some of the key storylines for the Browns throughout Training Camp, as told by Akron Beacon Journal writer Chris Easterling:

"Injuries. There's been some big names who either started on either PUP or NFI, and then there's been a run of players who have missed multiple practices because of undisclosed injuries. That's especially true for the front seven, specifically the defensive tackles."

"The latest Deshaun Watson comeback. Watson has started just twelve games in two seasons in Cleveland. This time, it's a shoulder surgery that he's coming back from. He's also doing so with a new-look offense being coordinated by Ken Dorsey."

"New offense. Head Coach Kevin Stefanski is going to continue to call plays. However, Dorsey has brought more eye candy, as well as three- and four-receiver sets and choice routes to the scheme."

Regarding Deshaun Watson's and Nick Chubb's status:

"Watson has basically been full-go throughout Training Camp. Over the first dozen practices, he's only had one practice where he was held out of throwing. They're pleased with his progress from last November's shoulder surgery. Whether or not he plays in the final preseason game at Seattle is still up in the air but nothing indicates he won't play Dallas in the opener."

"Chubb's status is much more uncertain. He's doing rehab work but doesn't seem close to returning to actual football work. My best-case guess would be late October or post-bye in November for him returning."

On Jerry Jeudy fitting into the offense:

"The hope is that Jerry provides them with a true vertical threat in the passing game. They haven't consistently had that from one player in at least a decade. They're building an offense with Jeudy creating separation through various choice/option routes."

"The issue has been a lack of consistent practice time with Jerry and Deshaun Watson because Jerry has been limited in team drills due to injury. But if he's healthy, he's No. 2 wide receiver behind Amari Cooper and third option behind tight end David Njoku and Cooper."

On players turning heads during camp:

"There's not many potential roster spots truly available due to returned talent; however rookie defensive tackle Mike Hall Jr., has found his way into potentially more reps than previously expected because of both performance and injuries."

"Second-year wide receiver Cedric Tillman has built off a strong offseason and seems like WR4 with a chance to be WR3 battling third-year wide receiver David Bell."
