Brandon Fry, general manager of Unique Indoor Comfort, said that the company was founded with the goal of filling the gap in exceptional customer experience in the market. Fry said in an interview that the company has recently become partners with ACE Hardware 

In the interview, Fry said he originally joined the company after being asked by a longtime colleague. He was initially concerned with making the move from a multi-million-dollar corporation to a new company with fewer than 10 employees, but ultimately saw the potential and made the decision to join the Unique team.

"They felt as though there was a gaping hole in the home services industry as far as providing a good experience, an exceptional experience at every interaction," Fry told Dallas City Wire.

According to the company website, Unique Indoor Comfort has recently become a part of Ace Hardware, following its acquisition by the hardware company. This partnership presents an opportunity to redefine helpful service within the heating and cooling sector, leveraging Ace Hardware's commitment to community-oriented support across its 5,800 neighborhood stores nationwide.

Fry said that the partnership with ACE will provide Unique with more resources to increase its range of services. “We do want to add services. So we've already added electrical with All Phase and media and we hope to add plumbing to our portfolio by the end of the year.”
