Unique Indoor Comfort Heating and Cooling is dedicated to fostering exceptional customer experiences and supporting local families in need. The company was recently acquired by Ace Hardware.
Brandon Fry, General Manager at Unique Indoor Comfort Heating and Cooling, said in an interview that the company was founded in 2011 by Nate Kukla, current Ace Hardware Home Services CEO, and Graham Lucard, current Ace Hardware Home Services regional vice president. Their journey began at Nate's kitchen table, where they dreamed of making their vision a nationwide reality.
"I was a little nervous because I was coming from a multi-million dollar company to this little tiny company with less than 10 employees that just started," Fry said. "And I decided it was a wonderful opportunity, and I jumped in."
Over the years, Unique has maintained its core services but improved upon them. Additionally, by partnering with ACE and gaining access to their resources, the company has expanded into electrical services and plans to include plumbing in its portfolio. The focus remains on providing quality services and constantly improving their offerings.
Fry said that Unique is dedicated to helping local families in need. He said that at least once a year, the company provides heating for a needy family who might not qualify for financing. The company also provided an air conditioning installation free of charge for Joy of Sox, a charitable organization that provides socks to homeless people.
According to the company website, Unique Indoor Comfort was recently acquired by Ace Hardware. With over 5800 neighborhood stores nationwide, Ace Hardware and Unique share the same commitment to offering exceptional customer experiences. Local ownership and a focus on providing assistance in the store and at home are central to Ace Hardware's mission. This partnership will boost Unique's growth, allowing the company to better support the local community.
