ESports are multiplayer competitive video games. They’re very popular among youth. ESports can help teens build soft skills like communication, team work, and self-confidence. These skills are essential for future careers in science, technology, engineering, and math.
ESports help youth to:
- Compete in a safe, friendly manner. ESports are an outlet for teens to let loose and have fun with each other.
- Practice problem-solving. ESports let teens try different ways to achieve a goal under pressure.
- Learn teamwork. ESports tournaments encourage players to cheer on their teammates and work together.
