KIDS LITERACY FUN FEST

A free afternoon of family fun to kick off the summer season and Juneteenth weekend.
Celebrating books and reading, the event will feature area children's authors and bookstores presented by Auggie Bear Publishing, a local children's publishing company with a mission "to lead, inspire, and speak to the hearts of all generations of readers with positive imagery that taps into the richness of the authors' stories with a focus on indie authors."
In addition to book sales and author readings, there will be a variety of fun games and activities organized by Summerside Camps and Urban Youth Kings and Queens, as well as music by Baby Loves Disco.
Proceeds from the afternoon's refreshment sales will support Horizons at SCH.
