Chestnut Hill College issued the following announcement on Sept. 24.
CHC faculty are committed to new ways of thinking, high-quality research, and academic excellence. Their stories of hope, scientific progress, and positive student outcomes are brought to life through the most recent edition of the Chestnut Hill College Magazine. The sciences program at CHC has grown exponentially over the years as majors in biology, chemistry, environmental sciences and more, are some of the more popular offerings on campus. It takes great faculty to craft these great programs, programs that have seen our students go on to amazing graduate school opportunities across the country. In this feature, "Focusing the Lens," we spoke to several of those faculty members as they shared their passion and mission for educating students in the sciences.
Focusing the Lens highlights the sciences at CHC in four parts: Dr. Kenneth Soprano Making a Difference at More than Just the Molecular Level, Passing the Torch from One Naturalist to the Next, From Immunology to Professorship - the Importance of Research and Finding your Path, and Dr. Lakshmi Atchison on Making Science Deeply Human.
The full feature can be read from pages 22-30.
