Cost of college went down for all students at the University of the Sciences

Tuition and fees fell 37.5 percent for 2018-19 at the University of the Sciences, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Pennsylvania students paid $25,000 to attend the four-year private not-for-profit institution this year – $14,994 less than the $39,994 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 100 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 352 students received grants or scholarships totaling $8.8 million and 250 students took out student loans totaling more than $3.1 million.

Including all undergraduates (2,231), 1,259 students used grants or scholarships totaling $28.9 million, and 855 students took out $6.1 million in federal student loans.
