Bryce Harper and Trea Turner were instrumental in the Phillies' close victory against the Braves with key home runs. Harper's two-run homer in the seventh inning marked his first home run and RBIs against the Braves during the regular season since September 19, 2023. This home run was also Harper's second of the current season.

The Braves managed to draw level in the bottom of the seventh inning when Austin Riley hit a home run. However, Turner secured the win with his first home run of the season in the ninth inning.

José Alvarado, a left-handed pitcher for the Phillies, contributed by pitching 1 1/3 scoreless innings and earned the win for his team.
