The Philadelphia Eagles have added a seasoned player to their roster with the signing of cornerback Adoree' Jackson. The team announced on Friday that they have agreed to a one-year contract with Jackson, who most recently played for the New York Giants.
Jackson entered the NFL as the 18th overall pick in the 2017 Draft, selected by the Tennessee Titans. He spent four seasons with the Titans before moving to the Giants in 2021. During his stint with the Giants, Jackson participated in 14 games last year, recording 28 tackles, including 18 solo tackles, alongside one forced fumble and a fumble recovery.
Throughout his eight-year career in the NFL, Jackson has accumulated impressive statistics including 404 tackles (330 solo), 61 pass breakups, six forced fumbles, three fumble recoveries, and four interceptions. At age 29, he brings valuable experience to Philadelphia's young defensive backs group as he prepares for his ninth season in professional football.
Jackson will be reuniting with former teammate Saquon Barkley in Philadelphia. Barkley was recognized as the Offensive Player of the Year in 2024 during his time with the Giants.
