Philadelphia Union has announced a trade agreement with Colorado Rapids, enabling the club to potentially secure up to $600,000 in General Allocation Money (GAM). In return, Philadelphia Union will give up their SuperDraft picks for the next three years.

The deal guarantees Philadelphia Union $350,000 in GAM, with an additional $250,000 contingent on meeting certain performance metrics. The distribution of the GAM is planned as follows: $125,000 for 2025, another $125,000 for 2026, and $100,000 for 2027. The Union will part with eight SuperDraft picks. Specifically, Colorado Rapids will receive Philadelphia's first and third-round picks in the 2025 MLS SuperDraft and their first, second, and third-round picks in both the 2026 and 2027 drafts.

"TRANSACTION: Philadelphia Union acquire $350,000 in guaranteed GAM and up to $250,000 in conditional GAM from Colorado Rapids in exchange for eight SuperDraft picks over 2025, 2026, and 2027."
