The Philadelphia Eagles have made several roster adjustments ahead of their upcoming game against the Baltimore Ravens. These changes follow the announcement that wide receiver Johnny Wilson has been downgraded to out due to a hamstring injury.
Wide receiver Parris Campbell has been signed to the active roster from the practice squad. This marks his second elevation this season. In four games, Campbell has recorded six receptions for 30 yards and one touchdown. His inclusion comes at a critical time with Wilson unavailable and DeVonta Smith listed as questionable, also with a hamstring issue. Campbell's most recent appearance was against the New York Giants on October 20.
Linebacker Ben VanSumeren has been placed on Injured Reserve after being declared out on Friday with a knee injury. Known for his special teams contributions, VanSumeren ranked third in special teams snaps for the Eagles and also played 22 offensive snaps as a fullback this season.
In addition, linebacker Ochaun Mathis and tight end C.J. Uzomah have been elevated from the practice squad for Sunday's game. Mathis is set to make his debut for the Eagles after joining their practice squad on November 22, having previously appeared in five games for the New England Patriots this season. Uzomah, a seasoned NFL player with ten years of experience, will be participating in his third consecutive game after contributing in victories over Washington and the Los Angeles Rams.
Meanwhile, the Baltimore Ravens have also announced changes to their gameday roster. Tight end Charlie Kolar and cornerback Arthur Maulet have been placed on Injured Reserve due to injuries sustained earlier this week. To fill these gaps, defensive end Chris Wormley and linebacker William Kwenkeu have been elevated from the practice squad.
