The Philadelphia Eagles have been showcasing a potent rushing attack, averaging 195.8 yards per game and scoring eight touchdowns on the ground since Week 6. This performance has positioned them as leaders in the NFL for rushing metrics during this period. The team has consistently delivered over 150 yards and two touchdowns on the ground in three consecutive games, marking a feat achieved only seven times in franchise history.

Running back Saquon Barkley was recently named NFC Offensive Player of the Week following his standout performance against Jacksonville, where he rushed for 159 yards and scored two touchdowns, one via a reception. Head Coach Nick Sirianni praised Barkley, stating, "I think it's fair to say that he's even more special than I ever thought."

The Eagles' offensive success is supported by their strong offensive line despite injuries to key players like Lane Johnson, Jordan Mailata, and Mekhi Becton. Jeff Stoutland's role as Run Game Coordinator/Offensive Line Coach has been pivotal in maintaining depth and effectiveness at the line of scrimmage.

Tight ends Dallas Goedert, Grant Calcaterra, and Jack Stoll have contributed significantly to run blocking. Quarterback Jalen Hurts has also played an integral role with 322 rushing yards and eight touchdowns this season.

Barkley's addition in free agency has proven beneficial as he leads with 925 rushing yards at an average of 5.9 yards per carry. Offensive Coordinator Kellen Moore highlighted the team's strategy: "We are constantly trying to evaluate our rhythm throughout each and every game."

The Eagles continue to excel not just on the ground but also through the air with Hurts having six passing touchdowns and no turnovers in their last four wins. The team leads the NFL with 12 completions of over 40 yards this season.

Guard Mekhi Becton summed up the team's confidence: "We have total confidence in our ability to run the ball, no matter how the defense is playing us."
