The Philadelphia Eagles have expanded their practice squad by signing offensive lineman Braeden Daniels. The move was announced on Wednesday, following the release of defensive tackle Siaki Ika from the squad.
Daniels, a fourth-round pick in 2023 by the Washington Commanders, missed his rookie season due to a shoulder injury that placed him on Injured Reserve. Despite participating in Training Camp and preseason games, he was released during the final roster cutdown in August.
During his college career at Utah, Daniels earned recognition as a Pac-12 first-team selection and second-team honors in 2021. He played in 48 games with 43 starts across multiple positions: left tackle, right tackle, and left guard.
The addition of Daniels fills a vacancy on the Eagles' practice squad and adds depth to their offensive line options.
