Adam Berry, the Vice President of Football Operations and Strategy for the Philadelphia Eagles, will face off against his twin brother Andrew Berry, the General Manager of the Cleveland Browns, this Sunday. The brothers have shared a lifelong bond intertwined with intense competition, dating back to their childhood in Bel Air, Maryland.

Reflecting on their competitive spirit, Adam recalled their college days when he played as a wide receiver at Princeton and Andrew was a cornerback at Harvard. "It's kind of always been that way with us," Adam said from his office at the NovaCare Complex. He fondly remembered delivering a decisive block during a 2006 game that led to a touchdown for Princeton against Harvard. "I decleated him and we scored the touchdown and won the game."

On Sunday, 35 members of the Berry family will gather at Lincoln Financial Field to witness another chapter in this sibling rivalry. Both brothers have built successful careers in football; Andrew has served in various roles with NFL teams including Indianapolis and Philadelphia before returning to Cleveland. His journey inspired Adam to leave Goldman Sachs after 14 years and join the Eagles.

"I'd say Andrew had a big hand in the decision to change careers," Adam admitted. "Going into football was not something that had been on my radar." He credited Andrew as an invaluable resource during his transition into football operations.

Despite their competitive nature, both brothers remain supportive of each other. "Growing up, football was always our number one sport," Adam noted. The upcoming game is reminiscent of their college days when family involvement heightened the excitement.

"The family is having a lot of fun with it," Adam said about Sunday's matchup. Although communication between them has decreased this week due to preparations, Adam plans to meet Andrew in Philadelphia before and after the game for conversations—and possibly some friendly trash-talking.
