The Flyers and Flyers Charities have announced the sale of tickets for the 2024 Flyers Charities Casino Night, scheduled for Thursday, November 21. The event will take place at the Crystal Tea Room in Center City, offering fans a chance to engage in casino-style games such as blackjack, poker, roulette, and Big Six Wheel alongside the entire Flyers roster. Proceeds from the event will benefit Flyers Charities.
Flyers forward Scott Laughton expressed enthusiasm about the upcoming event: “I know all the guys and myself are excited for this year’s Casino Night. It’s always a great event with a great turnout, and it’s a lot of fun to meet fans and compete with them at the blackjack table. I really appreciate the work Flyers Charities does for our community, so knowing that all the proceeds from such a fun night go to a great cause makes it even more special.”
Tickets include access to win high-value prizes like playing golf with Flyers players or winning season tickets. VIP ticket holders will have an exclusive opportunity to mingle with players and enjoy additional benefits such as top-shelf drinks and hors d'oeuvres before general admission begins.
Blair Listino, President of Flyers Charities and Flyers Alternate Governor, highlighted the significance of Casino Night: "Since the inaugural Flyers Charities Casino Night in 2022, this standout event has quickly become a favorite among both players and fans. It's a fantastic opportunity for our players and fans to bond in a fun, relaxed setting outside the rink. The dedication of our players and the enthusiasm of our fans are key to the success of events like Casino Night, enabling us to continue to raise funds to support local families affected by cancer and promote growing the game of hockey.”
A limited number of tickets are available for purchase with sellouts anticipated. The dress code is cocktail/formal attire, and attendees must be at least 21 years old.
Through events like Casino Night, over $32 million has been contributed back into communities by Flyers Charities. Their efforts focus on eliminating financial barriers in sports and supporting families affected by cancer throughout Greater Philadelphia.
