Head Coach Nick Sirianni addressed his team after a recent loss to the Buccaneers, sharing insights and emphasizing resilience. "We went through adversity here already after the Atlanta game and we got better from it," he stated. He encouraged his players to "use it" and "get better from it," with confidence that they will improve.

The Eagles, currently holding a 2-2 record, are entering their bye week. This pause gives them an opportunity to observe their upcoming opponent, the Cleveland Browns, who will face off against the Washington Commanders. Philadelphia's next game at Lincoln Financial Field is anticipated to benefit from home support.

Sirianni has witnessed what his team can achieve when functioning optimally. The offense was among the top five in scoring during their first two games, while the defense effectively contained a high-scoring Saints team. However, he stressed that consistency remains crucial across all areas of coaching and playing.

"That's on both sides of coaching and playing," Sirianni said. He acknowledged that success requires collective effort: "It takes everybody." According to him, football is "the greatest team game," whether in victory or defeat.

Sirianni continues to rely on core values as a foundation for progress. He emphasized teamwork, accountability, detail orientation, and toughness as integral aspects of their identity as a football team.

During the bye week, coaches analyzed previous games to identify potential improvements for when players return to prepare for the Browns matchup. Sirianni highlighted that winning involves multiple plays rather than relying on just one decisive moment: "You win on a collection of plays."
