Philadelphia Union's Kai Wagner set a new club record on Saturday evening by achieving his 51st career assist, surpassing Sebastien Le Toux. The German left back reached this milestone just past the hour mark during the match against Atlanta United FC. Wagner delivered a precise cross to Nathan Harriel, who scored with a one-time shot.

Wagner has been an integral part of the Union's attack since joining in 2019. He signed a long-term contract extension in 2023 and has continued to demonstrate his value to the team. His assist to Harriel was his 12th of the year, making him the team's leader in assists and placing him 12th overall in MLS for 2024.
