The Flyers triumphed over the Boston Bruins in overtime, 3-2, during a preseason game at Wells Fargo Center on Saturday. Matvei Michkov's two-goal performance, including the overtime winner, was pivotal for the Flyers.

Michkov scored the game-winning goal after receiving a pass from Travis Konecny. Michkov carried the puck into shooting range and snapped home the deciding tally. In three exhibition games, Michkov has accumulated six points (three goals, three assists).

Olle Lycksell contributed two primary assists as he aims to secure a spot on the opening night NHL roster. Travis Konecny also provided two assists.

With this win, the Flyers' preseason record improved to 3-1-0.

Boston's Vinny Lettieri scored his first goal of the preseason at 12:59 of the first period with assists from Hampus Lindholm and Andrew Peeke.

Rasmus Ristolainen tied the game at 16:55 of the first period with a goal from the right circle, assisted by Lycksell and Ryan Poehling.

A Flyers turnover early in the second period allowed Matt Poitras to score a shorthanded goal at 2:40 after receiving a lead pass from Trent Frederic.

Michkov tied the game again with a power-play goal at 4:14 of the second period off an assist from Lycksell and Konecny.

The third period saw no goals despite better play from the Flyers.
