The second matchup against an AFC North opponent will come in Week 8 for the Eagles when they take on the Bengals in Cincinnati. The Bengals are looking to bounce back this year after a disappointing and injury-riddled 2023 campaign that had them fall short of the playoffs and finish last in their division.

With quarterback Joe Burrow looking healthy heading into the season, Cincinnati is poised to return to the top of the pack in the AFC.

Here are some of the top storylines for the Bengals throughout Training Camp, as told by Charlie Goldsmith of the Cincinnati Enquirer:

What are the Bengals' biggest storylines throughout Training Camp?

"Joe Burrow hasn't looked like a quarterback who had season-ending surgery on his wrist. It's been a normal Training Camp filled with standout throws, and the first-team offense has had a lot of success even though Ja'Marr Chase hasn't practiced. Rookie right tackle Amarius Mims has also fit right in with the first-team unit with a Bengals offense that has as much talent and depth as Burrow has played with."

What stands out about the offense?

"The offense is a lot faster than it was last year. With Chase Brown, Andrei Iosivas, and Mike Gesicki joining the starting lineup, the Bengals have more players who can challenge defenses vertically down the field. They're also using different personnel groupings, lining up under center more than they have and working on new aspects of the scheme."

Are there any players looking to make a roster spot who have helped their case?

"Every year, wide receiver Trenton Irwin and tight end Tanner Hudson enter camp on the roster bubble. And every year, they make a lot of plays. Joe Burrow has built up a lot of trust in them, and they both have a good feel for getting open. They give the Bengals trusted depth pieces who have made big catches in big moments." – Compiled by Liam Wichser
