Eagles activate Cooper DeJean from Non-Football Injury List ahead of joint practice with Patriots

The Eagles announced that rookie defensive back Cooper DeJean, who hasn't practiced throughout Training Camp after suffering a hamstring injury during offseason workouts, was activated off the Non-Football Injury List on Tuesday.

The move comes as the Birds are in Foxborough for a joint practice with the Patriots on Tuesday morning before their preseason matchup Thursday night. Head Coach Nick Sirianni said during his pre-practice press conference that DeJean will participate in individual drills.

"He's going to get some individual work today, see how he feels. He's progressing nicely and will get some individual work, don't know about the team stuff yet, but let's see how he is through individual," Sirianni said.

DeJean had pads on as he walked onto the field at the Patriots practice field Tuesday morning. The second-round pick was placed on the NFI List on July 24.

As for the rest of the team, here is a list of who will not practice or will be a limited participant in the joint practice with New England:
