Graduates earn 531 degrees, certificates from Chestnut Hill College

About 24.5 percent of the 531 degrees and certificates handed out by Chestnut Hill College in 2017-18 were to students in psychology programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private not-for-profit institution in Philadelphia conferred 78 master's degrees and 26 bachelor's degrees in psychology programs.

But the single most popular program was for a bachelor's degree in general human services. Data shows the school gave out 73 bachelor's degrees in general human services, followed by 64 master's degrees in counseling psychology and 36 bachelor's degrees in general business administration and management.

The college enrolled 1,794 students for 2017-18, including 1,322 in undergraduate programs and 472 in graduate programs.
