Graduates earn 167 degrees from The Restaurant School at Walnut Hill College

About 82 percent of the 167 degrees and certificates handed out by The Restaurant School at Walnut Hill College in 2017-18 were to students in personal and culinary services programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private for-profit institution in Philadelphia conferred 84 associate's degrees and 53 bachelor's degrees in personal and culinary services programs.

But the single most popular program was for a associate's degree in culinary arts/chef training. Data shows the school gave out 52 associate's degrees in culinary arts/chef training, followed by 34 bachelor's degrees in culinary arts/chef training and 32 associate's degrees in baking and pastry arts/baker/pastry chef.

The college enrolled 335 students for 2017-18, all of whom were enrolled in undergraduate programs.
