Graduates earn 53 degrees, certificates from the Curtis Institute of Music

About 49.1 percent of the 53 degrees and certificates handed out by the Curtis Institute of Music in 2017-18 were to students in programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private not-for-profit institution in Philadelphia conferred 26 bachelor's degrees in music performance, general programs.

Other popular programs include general music, voice and opera and stringed instruments.

The institute enrolled 171 students for 2017-18, including 130 in undergraduate programs and 41 in graduate programs.
