Cost of college went up for all students at Moore College of Art and Design

Tuition and fees rose 3.5 percent for 2018-19 at Moore College of Art and Design, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Pennsylvania students paid $41,424 to attend the four-year private not-for-profit institution this year – $1,591 more than the $39,833 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 100 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 88 students received grants or scholarships totaling $2 million and 88 students took out student loans totaling more than $902,130.

Including all undergraduates (397), 373 students used grants or scholarships totaling $6.8 million, and 362 students took out $2.2 million in federal student loans.
