76 percent of applicants to Saint Joseph's University were admitted for fall 2018

At Saint Joseph's University, 94 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 55 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Philadelphia enrolled 7,589 students in fall 2018, including 4,904 in undergraduate and 2,685 in graduate programs, data shows. 3.3 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

43 percent of undergraduates are residents of Pennsylvania, and 56 percent are residents of other states. 1 percent are citizens of foreign countries.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (77 percent) and Hispanic or Latino (7 percent).

The school admitted 76 percent of the 8,843 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 17 percent enrolled.
