89 percent of applicants to Bryn Athyn College of the New Church were admitted for fall 2018

At Bryn Athyn College of the New Church, 93 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 53 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Bryn Athyn enrolled 305 students in fall 2018, including 296 in undergraduate and nine in graduate programs, data shows. 5.1 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

72 percent of undergraduates are residents of Pennsylvania, and 22 percent are residents of other states. 6 percent are citizens of foreign countries.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (65 percent) and Black or African American (16 percent).

The school admitted 89 percent of the 250 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 30 percent enrolled.
