90 percent of applicants to Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts were admitted for fall 2018

At Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, 80 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 71 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Philadelphia enrolled 273 students in fall 2018, including 199 in undergraduate and 74 in graduate programs, data shows. 13.6 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

15 percent of undergraduates are residents of Pennsylvania, and 65 percent are residents of other states. 21 percent are citizens of foreign countries.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (61 percent) and two or more races (11 percent).

The school admitted 90 percent of the 173 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 22 percent enrolled.
