African American Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on Aug. 6
Starting September 1, "employers will be prohibited from asking applicants about their salary history at a former or current position, but they will be allowed to ask about applicants’ salary requirements or expectations, skill level and other measures of productivity that do not require the disclosure of salary. Employers can ask about revenue, sales, production reports, profits generated and experience if it is relevant to the job listed."
