The 2020 Census, Urban League of Philadelphia , African-American Chamber of Commerce of PA, NJ, and DE, the Rho Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated, the Office of Congresswoman Mary Gay Scanlon and the Pennsylvania Chapter of the National Coalition of 100 Black Women invite you to Making Sense of the Census: Delaware County. We invite elected officials, ward leaders, committee people, block captains, business owners, and anyone in Delaware County that want to help #MakeBlackCount in 2020 and beyond.
The purpose of the webinar is to educate, empower, and motivate everyone to complete the 2020 Census. The virtual webinar will discuss:
1. Understanding which specific neighborhoods in Delaware County that have a severely low Census completion rate
2. Dispel the myths and remind people of the importance of the Census
3. Hear from everyday people regarding how the Census impacts their business, work, and way of life
4. Learn strategies to mobilize your community to complete the Census, block by block
