ALBERT EINSTEIN MEDICAL CENTER: MossRehab Recognized as Top Workplace for Tenth Year

Award

Albert Einstein Medical Center issued the following announcement on April 14

MossRehab, part of Einstein Healthcare Network and a U.S. News & World Report top-ten “Best Hospital for Rehabilitation” was recognized by the Philadelphia Inquirer, Daily News and Philly.com as one of  the Greater Philadelphia Area’s “Top Workplaces” for the tenth year in a row.

"Being recognized as a Top Workplace always means a great deal to myself and the leadership at MossRehab, but being recognized for the tenth time is very special," said Alberto Esquenazi, MD, John Otto Haas Chair of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, MossRehab. “But now, during this particularly challenging time for our staff and the entire health care industry, it gives us an even greater sense of pride and fulfillment to know our dedicated employees can accept the challenge and feel supported in their efforts to achieve better outcomes for our patients, and that they truly are committed to their work here."

What makes the recognition special is that workers/staff nominate their organization and then fill out a survey expressing how they feel about where they work. Categories that are measured include:

  • Alignment– where the company is headed, its values, and leaders
  • Execution – how the company is getting to where it aims to go
  • Connection – feeling appreciated and that their work is meaningful
In addition, three My Job factors measure how employees feel about their day-to-day job:

My Work – training, work/life balance

My Manager – cares about concerns, helps learn and grow
