Zack Baun has been ranked No. 26 in the NFL’s Top 100 Players of 2025, marking his first appearance on the list. Baun’s debut season with the Philadelphia Eagles included a key interception in the Super Bowl, selection as a first-team All-Pro, and recognition as a finalist for AP Defensive Player of the Year.

He is joined on this year’s Top 100 by several teammates: A.J. Brown (No. 29), Jalen Carter (No. 43), Quinyon Mitchell (No. 49), Cooper DeJean (No. 60), and Jordan Mailata (No. 69).

Baun previously played four seasons with the New Orleans Saints as a hybrid linebacker before joining the Eagles, where Defensive Coordinator Vic Fangio assigned him to an off-ball linebacker role exclusively. In this position, Baun made an immediate impact with 15 tackles and two sacks in the season opener and finished the regular season with 150 tackles.

He also became only the second linebacker since 1991 to record a takeaway in each of his first four postseason starts. Following his performance, Baun signed a new contract that will keep him with Philadelphia for several years.

“From his interception in the Super Bowl to earning first-team All-Pro honors and being an AP Defensive Player of the Year finalist, Baun proved he’s one of the league’s best players.”
